I stayed for three nights with a group and enjoyed the spacious twin room that easily fit all our luggage. While the lobby had a noticeable smell of smoke, I was relieved that our room was fresh and clean. The location was excellent, with a convenience store right downstairs and easy access to the subway. We also appreciated the welcoming staff who assisted us well with our check-in and luggage.

The staff seemed a bit aloof, lacking warmth compared to other places I visited in Japan! Wi-Fi was temperamental at times, which was frustrating.

The location was incredibly convenient, just a short walk from the subway and next to a Lawson for quick snacks. Amenities like the coin laundry monitored through the TV and spacious rooms with extra pillows added great comfort. However, the staff seemed disengaged, and I found the bathroom a bit cramped for the room size. Although basic toiletries were provided, the overall ambience felt somewhat drab, which detracted from the experience.

The Daiwa Roynet Hotel Kyoto Shijo Karasuma offers a fantastic location, just a 5-minute walk to the bus station and a convenience store right downstairs. The rooms are equipped with essential amenities, including air conditioning, free WiFi, and even high-speed internet. It's great to unwind in the deep soaking bathtubs after a day of exploring!

The room was spacious for a business hotel, accommodating two large pieces of luggage comfortably. Additional perks included individual drip coffee packets from the front desk, enhancing convenience during my stay. The optional breakfast was reasonably priced, and the hotel even provided a laundry service.
